Custom Order Policy

Last Updated: September 1, 2025

We take pride in creating one-of-a-kind enclosures tailored to your animal’s needs and your design preferences. To ensure clarity and a smooth experience, please read the following terms for custom orders:

1. Deposit Requirement

non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot and begin sourcing materials. The standard deposit amount is listed in your quote and may vary by project.

2. Lead Times

Build timelines depend on project complexity, material availability, and our current queue. Estimated turnaround is generally 1–3 weeks after materials are received unless otherwise noted.

3. Material Substitutions

We reserve the right to make slight substitutions if a specific material becomes unavailable, provided the change does not affect the overall function or design of the build. We will notify you if a major change is needed.

4. Design Approval

Any major custom feature (false backdrops, ledges, sculpted hides, bioactive sections, etc.) will be discussed and approved via message or email before the build begins. Minor artistic elements may be adjusted during creation to enhance the final product.

5. Cancellation Policy

Custom orders are non-refundable once work begins. If you cancel before we’ve started, your deposit will still be retained to cover planning and consultation time.

6. Final Payment & Delivery

The remaining balance is due upon project completion and must be paid before delivery or pickup. If we are shipping the enclosure, we will provide a quote that includes packaging and transit fees.

7. Abandoned Orders

If we are unable to reach you for more than 14 days after project completion, your enclosure may be resold. Deposits and partial payments will be forfeited.
