Payment & Billing Terms

We are committed to providing a secure, transparent, and seamless payment process. The following Payment & Billing Terms outline how transactions are handled when purchasing from San Diego Exotic Enclosures.


1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Apple Pay
  • PayPal
  • Venmo (on request)
  • Zelle (on request)
  • Cash (in-person builds only)

2. Deposits for Custom Builds

  • All custom enclosure projects require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total build cost to initiate material sourcing and design planning.
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion or delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Full Payment for Standard Products

  • Products that are not custom (e.g., substrate kits, lighting, décor) must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

4. Invoicing & Receipts

  • Digital receipts are sent automatically upon payment.
  • For custom builds, a detailed invoice can be provided upon request.

5. Late Payments & Fees

  • Orders not paid in full within 7 days of completion may incur a 5% late fee per week until paid.
  • Builds left unpaid for more than 30 days may be considered forfeited unless alternate arrangements are made.

6. Sales Tax

  • Sales tax is applied as required by law based on your delivery location.

7. Payment Disputes

  • If you notice an error in billing or have a concern about a charge, please contact us immediately.
  • Chargebacks made without contacting us first may result in account suspension or cancellation of future services.
